Though they certainly had a lot of fun co-hosting the Golden Globes for three consecutive years, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler haven’t starred in a movie together since Baby Mama in 2008. Thankfully, this year that changes with Sisters. Fey and Poehler are, as the title suggests, two sisters who become outraged when their parents decide to sell their childhood home. As they’re cleaning out their room and reliving past high school glories, they decide there’s only one way to say goodbye to the old house: throw a raging party. The premise doesn’t sound all that inspired, but the cast — which also includes Maya Rudolph, Ike Barinholtz, John Cena, Bobby Moynihan, Kate McKinnon, Rachel Dratch, John Leguizamo, Dianne Wiest, and James Brolin — is outstanding, and from the looks of this trailer Fey and Poehler still know how to bring it.
Sisters arrives December 18.
