When Ferris Bueller said, “Life moves pretty fast—if you don’t stop and look around once in awhile, you might miss it,” there was a small, but not improbable chance that he was referring to National Burrito Day. Now, who knows if National Burrito Day existed back in 1986, but the point is that it’s dangerously easy to miss this very important holiday if you aren’t paying attention.

Fortunately, because I have a penchant for Mexican food and publicist-fabricated holidays, I’m paying attention. And I’m here to tell you that National Burrito Day is TOMORROW, April 6. Here’s how you will celebrate:

  1. Get a free burrito from El Pollo Loco with this coupon, provided you’ve already bought any equal or greater value burrito. And why wouldn’t you? It’s National Burrito Day, goddammit.

  2. Find your local Rubio’s as if your life depended on it and present the kind folks behind the counter with this coupon. It’s good for a $5 burrito tomorrow and Friday, which isn’t National Burrito Day, but Rubio’s is feeling generous and so would like to keep the good burrito vibes going.

  3. Get free chips and guacamole from Chipotle this week. Okay, you’ll actually have to do some work here, per Thrillist, but the payoff is worth it. Go to Chipotle’s website and play a game called “Spot the Imposter” by scrolling through a list of the chain’s ingredients and finding the hidden additive. (Remember, Chipotle only uses real ingredients, because they care.) Once you flag the fake ingredient, Chipotle will text you a mobile coupon for free chips and guac with any entree—which is going to be a burrito, because who are you kidding?
