You ever get the impression — pun intended — that Jimmy Fallon tailor-makes his Tonight Show games to fit his guest’s strengths? Well, yes, of course he does. Challenging Maroon 5 singer and The Voice mainstay Adam Levine to a face-off of vocal mashups might be the softest pitch to ever sail through late night. And, predictably, Mr. Moves Like Jagger did knock it out of the park — or, at least, off the couch. His Eddie Vedder impersonation, faithful. His King Of Pop? Magical.

Levine’s only misstep, taken during his rendition of Frank Sinatra doing “Heads, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes,” was cribbing a line from one of the most quotable comedies of the last 15 years and thinking no one would notice. Or maybe he did it to give us an excuse to re-watch the following Anchorman clip yet again. Gosh, that Adam Levine is so cool — and thoughtful.
