You might not know his name, but it would be near-impossible for you to claim that you haven’t seen the work of legendary Disney animator Eric Goldberg, who had a big hand in shaping the aesthetic of many Disney animation classics from the 90s and on, like “Pocahontas,” “The Emporer’s New Groove,” “Hercules,” and many more.

For tonight’s new episode of “The Simpsons”, Fox offered Goldberg a chance to take charge of the show’s opening couch gag, and the final result is an epic Disney-flavored tribute to America’s favorite cartoon family.
