Littering is no laughing matter, but that doesn’t mean anti-littering campaigns can’t be fun. At least that’s the philosophy of the Toronto government. In an effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions 30 percent by 2020 and 80 percent by 2050, the city started Live Green Toronto. The initiative provides helpful tips to citizens to reduce their carbon footprint. Their most recent campaign scolds Torontonians for dropping trash on the ground and gives us the opportunity to share a laugh with our northern neighbors over something not involving embattled (read: crack addict) Mayor Rob Ford.
