Soon you might have the chance to experience video games like Assassin’s Creed in ride form—provided you can make your way to Malaysia.
AC (and many other games) publisher Ubisoft recently announced on its blog that it’s planning to build a 10,000-meter indoor park in Kuala Lumpur, based on its game franchises. Ubisoft says the park will feature “rides, shows, and other attractions,” but didn’t go into further detail than that. The park is expected to open in 2020.
Ubisoft isn’t completely a stranger to theme parks: it already has an award-winning ride called “The Time Machine,” based on its Raving Rabbids franchise (pictured above), at France’s Futuroscope park.
There aren’t many more details about the park at this point. It’s not even clear what it’ll be called. But ideally it will include a recreation of a Renaissance Italy street where you can get “assassinated” by costumed employees who drop from the rooftops. The panic would create the best theme park photo ever.
