Up in Smoke: When to Break Up :

Breakups are the worst. We’ve all been there, and some of us will be there again. With a recent study in the Journal of Social and Clinical Psychology claiming “ex-sex” isn’t so bad after all, we went looking for stats to remind you that breaking up is (almost) always for the best. The recent study showed that most participants (82.5%) stayed in touch with their ex after breaking up and about one fifth had sex, citing that, “Whether or not the ex-sex actually helped a partner get over the end of their marriage depended on how ‘over’ it they already were.”

Website Wot Went Wrong, which lets its readers anonymously share their dating experiences and is most famous for frank breakup advice, has compiled an infographic of stats on the most common reasons for a breakup, which you may find helpful to ensure you reach your future relationship goals.
