To quote Madonna (something I’m not particularly fond of), “We are living in a material world.” To help you figure out which of the millions of material goods swirling around us is worth spending your hard-earned cash on, we have put together The Want List, consisting of the items we really love this week.

Old Rip Van Winkle

OLD RIP VAN WINKLE 25-YEAR BOURBON
$1,800, oldripvanwinkle.com
Pappy Van Winkle is one of the most sought after bourbons in the world in large part because it is so hard to find. And the latest release from the Old Rip Van Winkle distillery will be even rarer than that. Only 710 bottles of the Old Rip Van Winkle bourbon were produced. The whiskey was first barreled in 1989 and each will come in a handmade crystal decanter that is individually numbered.

Pagani

Pagani

PAGANI HUAYRA ROADSTER
$2,400,000, pagani.com The follow-up to the roofed Huayra has been a long time coming. Pagani began working on the Huayra Roadster in 2010 but scrapped that effort and started over a couple years ago. Now the vehicle is ready for its debut. With a six-liter V12, it produces 764 horsepower, which is more than the Lamborghini Aventador, and is incredibly lightweight. Only 100 of the vehicles will be made and they’ve all been spoken for already.
Supreme

Supreme

PLAYBOY X SUPREME PILLBOX HAT
$48, supremenewyork.com
Supreme re-opened its webstore for spring this week and nearly broke the internet. One of the reasons was Supreme’s latest collab with Playboy, including this pillbox style cap. The throwback lid with the large Bunny on top is the ideal way to top off your fit now that beanie season is almost over.

DAZZLESHIP BATTLESHIP
$15.99, laurenceking.com
Anyone who grew up at a time when “gaming” didn’t just mean video games will remember the phrase, “You sank my battleship.” The naval warfare board game Battleship is a classic. Renowned design studio Pentagram has now updated the game in both aesthetics and gameplay. Dazzleship Battleship replaces the plastic clamshell pegboards with elegant notebooks, whose covers and ships are adorned with the dazzle camouflage used during World War I.

MOAR RAPT EBIKE
$1,999, indiegogo.com
The Moar is definitely more. It’s a full-suspension fat tire mountain bike. It’s a folding bike. It’s an e-bike. Instead of having to choose one of those styles, you get them all. And the e-bike part is particularly impressive. The Rapt edition has a 750W motor that can tow an SUV. We’re not sure when that will ever become necessary, but it’s nice to know you can do it.
