The Want List: 5 Things We’re Coveting This Week:

To quote Madonna (something I’m not particularly fond of), “We are living in a material world.” To help you figure out which of the millions of material goods swirling around us is worth spending your hard-earned cash on, we have put together The Want List, consisting of the items we really love this week.

mitchell & ness michael jordan 45 jersey

MITCHELL & NESS MICHAEL JORDAN COMEBACK JERSEY
$300, store.nba.com
The jersey that Michael Jordan wore when he came out of retirement (and that inspired the Jay Z lyric “When I come back like Jordan wearing the 4-5”) is making a comeback of its own. To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Jordan’s return from a brief stint playing baseball, Mitchell & Ness is releasing a commemorative Chicago Bulls jersey with the number 45 that Jordan wore before his traditional 23 was unretired by the team.

SHWOOD CANBY SELECT NEWSPAPER
$350, shwoodshop.com
Shwood is known for making eyewear out of wood, but for its latest collection they added a wood byproduct, paper. The Newspaper glasses incorporate newsprint paper, which takes on a wood grain look after it is rolled up and then thinly sliced.

NOMADCLIP USB CHARGER CARABINER
$39.95, hellonomad.com
With the Nomadclip, if you’ve got your keys, you’ve got a way to charge your phone. The sturdy carabiner conceals a USB cable. One end of the cable is a standard USB plug and the other is either an Apple Lightning or Micro USB plug. And the polycarbonate and steel carabiner is rugged enough to hold a lot more than just your keys.

bmw urban racer concept motorcycle

BMW URBAN RACER CONCEPT
Price unavailable, bmwmotorcycles.com
This motorcycle, inspired by fighter jets, is exquisite on every level, from its quilted leather seat to its polished mahogany trim to its brushed steel body. The bike has a 1200cc twin engine that puts out 150 horsepower. As with most concept vehicles, this one will probably never become a reality. But there’s nothing wrong with dreaming, right?

TANNER GOODS INDIGO COLLECTION
$60-$135, tannergoods.com
Portland-based Tanner Goods makes some of the best leather accessories around. And for the brand’s latest limited edition collection, they’ve focused on the quintessential piece of American menswear, blue jeans. The Indigo collection wallets feature dyed Horween leather and burnished edges.
