Everyone enjoys hating on Miley Cyrus, and the Disney star-turned eccentric pop exhibitionist makes it pretty damn easy to do. But every once in a blue moon, the boob-flashing stoner will surprise us with a captivating piece of music. Come on, you have to admit she’s got one hell of a voice. Have you ever heard her cover of Dolly Parton’s “Jolene?”

Maybe sweet Miley shines brightest when she’s paying respect to the music of her peers and idols. Her latest example of such a cover came in support of her Happy Hippie Foundation, which she organized to assist the struggling and homeless youth of the LGBT community. Joining her in the latest Happy Hippie Backyard Session was her fellow pop femme fatale Ariana Grande who added supporting vocals to a dreamy rendition of Crowded House’s 1986 classic “Don’t Dream It’s Over.”
