The Muppets are back on prime time television this fall, so we’re seeing more of them than usual these days. Yesterday brought with it the sad news that Kermit and Miss Piggy are no longer a couple, but it also brought something happier: a cover of the Kool and the Gang classic “Jungle Boogie” by the Greatest Puppet Band in the World, Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem.

The band didn’t go it alone, though. They recruited the always-fussy Sam the Eagle to sing lead on the song. At first, he’s not into it, and refuses to jungle boogie. Eventually he, as we all must, submits to the boogie, and the results are delightful.

The Muppets premieres September 22 on ABC.
