The day we run out of amazing stories from actor, comedian and Minor Chaos Deity Bill Murray is the day World War Three starts and we all die in nuclear winter, so obviously Murray’s going to keep the anecdotes coming.

The legendary Murray is on the cover of Vanity Fair this month, promoting both his new film Rock the Kasbah and his upcoming A Very Murray Christmas holiday special, and in the course of his photo shoot, he stopped to tell a few tales. In the video above, Murray and Rock the Kasbah writer Mitch Glazer describe what happened when a woman approached Murray for an autograph as the actor was swimming laps to get in shape for Scrooged.

The moral of the story: If you interrupt Bill Murray’s swim, you gotta join him in the pool, no matter how many expensive things you’re wearing.
