With those sage words buzzing in her head, Carmen was ready. Her model for the day was the lovely Jennifer Walcott, Miss August 2001. "Tell me if a hair is out of place or if I have lipstick on my teeth. You know, girl stuff," Jennifer told Carmen.
The shoot started slowly, and Carmen was a bit overwhelmed by the complicated professional Nikon SLR camera she was given to use. A cold bottle of Cristal quickly loosened her up, though, and she began firing away with wild abandon. "Jennifer, legs open," she called out. "That's fuckin' hot! This is so much fun. I feel like a guy."
Carmen spent the better part of two hours posing Jennifer, and by the end of their session she had a newfound respect for Playboy photographers. "At first I was really frustrated," she said. "It's a lot harder than it looks. And then I just got into the flow. I had so much fun and the time went by so fast. I could have just stayed in it and kept going. It's really nice to view it from this perspective; it's completely different. Maybe it will help me when I'm modeling."
