Dale Earnhardt Jr. is used to going toe-to-toe with death. As one of NASCAR's premiere pilots, that's his job. As a testament to his daredevil line of work, mangled fenders and side panels in his signature Bud-red hue hang from the walls of his cavernous personal garage outside Charlotte, North Carolina. "I was doing 120 when I hit the wall on that one," he says, pointing proudly to a particularly distorted scrap.

In short, few things scare the 2004 Daytona 500 champ. However, sexy triplet Playmates coming over to your crib for a nude photo shoot is enough to give any man pause. "I'm nervous, but I figure they're as nervous as I am and I hope it will even out," Earnhardt said as his trio of models got ready for their photo session.

When Playboy.com asked Earnhardt to join the growing ranks of our celebrity photographers, he was up for the challenge, but only if he could work with Erica, Nicole and Jaclyn, a.k.a. Miss, Miss and Miss December 1998. "I was really glad they were cool to do it because I have known them for a couple of years now and I feel really comfortable around them," he explained. And what did the Dahms think when they heard about the project? "He's adorable!" they cooed in unison. "We'll be Dale's pit crew any time."
