Flavor Flav used to "Fight the Power."
But these days, the Public Enemy showman is all about the love.
The finale of his VH1 TV dating show, Flavor of Love 2, nabbed 7.5 million viewers -- the biggest audience in the network's history. Befitting a rapper known for wearing oversized clocks and outrageous costumes, Flav's first solo album, Flavor Flav, drops on Halloween. The timing was perfect for Flav to be Playboy.com's next Celebrity Guest Photographer.
Rolling up to the spectacular Hollywood Hills location in an Escalade, the Man of Many Clocks had just returned from a 14-date tour of Europe. In the dressing room, Flav gave Playboy.com model Mary Jane a big hug. "If Playboy doesn't put you as a Centerfold real soon, I'm gonna fire all of them," Flav told Mary Jane, a 5'4" brunette bombshell. When the stylist suggested a pair of lacy pink panties for Mary Jane, Flav rapped: "Yo Joyce/Not a bad choice/It would make a man moist."
Rockin' his signature gold crown, purple robe and clock, Flav used a high-tech JVC camcorder to make a home video that broadcast Mary Jane's sexy dancing on a 61-inch JVC television. "Wiggle your bones, baby girl," Flav said. "That outfit looks very slammin'. I'm ready to take some pics. Yo, Hugh! You know how we do! Flavor Flav has just become part of your crew. Flav Hefner here -- I'm stealin' your last name. For real!"
Once he got the camera, Flav got down to business. "Gimme a little sexy facial expression," he told Mary Jane. "Yeah, like that. Wow! Just be yourself, you move how you want to. That's gonna make a man say, 'Ooh, I want that!' Yeah, that's it, baby girl. Don't move, Mary Jane, don't touch that dial."
Flav took a break to talk about his rise back to fame after he appeared on The Surreal Life 3. "That show sure opened doors for me," Flav said. "I'm not like your fuckin' other celebs. I got a heart. I got love for you guys."
Back on the set for the photo shoot, Flav encountered some problems with the camera. "It's the focus, man," he said. "Maybe it's you, not the camera," Mary Jane joked. "You gotta focus!"
"I gotta tell you, baby, you're so beautiful, you knocked me off my focus," Flav said.
As the shoot neared the end, Mary Jane slipped off her panties and threw them at Flav.
"A souvenir for you," she said, with a huge smile.
"Guess what?" Flav shot back, grabbing the lingerie. "I'm keeping my souvenir." |
