MF: I don't think I could stare anyone down or scare them. I don't know if I have that in me. I'm a nice guy. Ha, ha, ha, ha.
PB: On the subject of intimidation, who are the worst trash talkers around the league?
PB: Who else?
MF: [Tennesse Titans defensive back] Lance Schulters. Lance and I are good friends, but once you get in the heat of battle, you gotta keep yourself motivated. And we had a couple of rookie linebackers that, awww, just was running off at the mouth. I don't want to say their names yet, because I don't want to make them famous. Just some young guys -- they gotta wait their turn to start talking.
PB: What about you?
MF: I don't have much to say. I just nod and laugh and have fun with it.
PB: You're an avid golfer. So is Michael Jordan. If you golf against Jordan, who would win?
MF: Oh, I'll beat him. [But] we've never played against each other.
PB: Why are NFL guys so addicted to video games?
MF: We're competitive. It gives you an opportunity to compete against another person. It stimulates the mind. And bragging rights. You can talk smack about it.
PB: Who are the biggest addicts on the Rams?
MF: We have major addicts. Dre Bly. He'll play forever. Isaac [Bruce] plays all of training camp. He goes from practice to playing video games.
PB: You're on the cover of the new Madden? Do you always play the Rams on Madden?
MF: No, I can't get around to play with my team. I can't sit there and win with me.
PB: So what's the strategy to stop the Rams in Madden?
MF: I try to hurt myself!
PB: OK, give us a surefire Madden tip to beat our buddies at the game.
PB: Have you ever checked out how realistic the cheerleaders are in Madden?
