PB: Why do you think a guy like Mike Tyson has found himself in physical altercations somewhat regularly -- while you manage to avoid them?
VK: There's a difference between animals and humans. Animals use just physical power. God gave people intellect. God gave people language. And we try to use what God gave us. That's why we don't have to fight in the street. We can find compromise.
PB: It sounds like you're saying Mike Tyson has not developed those other skills.
VK: It seems like Tyson doesn't choose to use compromise with other people. That's why he has so many problems.
PB: At one point, it seemed like Wladimir was the Klitschko to watch. Then, in March 2003, he lost his WBO heavyweight title to Corrie Sanders, and you appeared to step in as the most dominant Klitschko.
VK: After the Corrie Sanders fight, some people started to say that, and it's not fair. My brother has a big future in boxing. I think he's more talented than I am. Much more.
PB: You've said before that you wouldn't step into the ring against your brother. Do you still feel that way?
VK: I will never fight my brother.
PB: Even if he won the world championship, and you were listed as the number one contender?
VK: You know what? I have just one brother and he has helped me so much in my career. To fight against my brother would be the same as punching my mother or father. As I told you, the goal of boxing is to knock your opponent out as soon as possible. I could never do that to my brother. If we fought each other, it would break my mother's heart.
PB: How did you meet your wife?
VK: My wife was a model. I was 24 years old and I was invited to a show where there would be a lot of models. I knew that there would be pretty girls there, so I went. I think most men would do the same thing. When I looked at her, I said, "This is the girl I want." And I accomplished my goal. [Laughs]
PB: You have two kids and a very busy schedule. Boxing, like everything else, has its groupies. There must be quite a bit of temptation on the road.
VK: This is what I want to say about that: I'm married, and I don't have relationships with other girls.
PB: You've come so close to winning the WBC championship, and, at 32, a lot of observers believe that this is the time for you to strike. What's your perception of your boxing future?
VK: The next fight I have will be a world championship. I had hoped my opponent would be Lennox Lewis. He's been a great champion and, like I said before, I wanted the opportunity to beat him.
Wladimir and I are two brothers with one goal. There are several boxing organizations, and Wladimir and I want to be heavyweight champions at the same time. This has never happened in history. We want to make history.
