Who’s Single After A Double Shot?
The Ikki Twins made their bisexual bed on MTV. Now they have to lie in it, despite both falling for the same guy

MTV gave them their double shot at love. But now? Rikki and Vikki (the famously identical bisexual Ikki Twins) are answering some tough questions. Was all the drama worth it? Was the love hotter with the guys or girls? And what does this love look like years from now?
After the season finale of MTV’s A Double Shot at Love on February 3, Vikki got the man. Well, sort of a man, in that boyish slacker-surfer way. His name’s Trevor, and he chose Vikki over Rikki.
“It just kind of sucks because there was no closure between Rikki and Trevor,” Vikki told Playboy. So what’s next for this reality-show couple? “When me and Trevor hang out together there are these huge feelings we had on the show,” she said. “I feel the love intensified.”
Hiding under that confidence, though, is a little insecurity about how the show went down at the bitter end. “Trevor said that if Rikki had said she loved him back, they would’ve ended up together. So now it’s like, whatever, did he pick me because I was his default?”
Rikki, the unchosen one, wishes things hadn’t turned out the way they did either. “I got my heart broken, and had to watch my sister walk away with the guy I loved,” she revealed to Playboy. “I wasn’t angry, though. I couldn’t blame her.” The blonde hottie is now looking forward to settling down and having kids someday. “So, yeah, I’m looking for Mr. or Mrs. Right. I know it would be easier to settle down with a man. But if I find love with a woman, it’s worth it to go through the struggles and obstacles.”
The 27-year-old twins hooked up with MTV to find their one true love by harnessing a dozen lesbians and a dozen straight guys to compete for their affection. But while Vikki says she didn’t use her head, and instead chose with her heart, both girls seemed to prefer the girl-on-girl action when the cameras were off.
“I really, really dug Rebekah for a long time,” Rikki said about the bartender from Seattle. “We connected more on a physical level. It’s really hard to keep your hands off her.” Vikki agreed that toward the end of the series, her own connection with Rebekah was the steamier one. “I will go down in books saying that she is the best kisser. We had such a hot last date. I was so horny. To watch that episode now is hard.”
But, alas, Vikki wound up with Trevor. “Trevor is so sweet and sincere and honest, he’s kind of like a girl.”
Rikki has semi-high hopes for things between her sister and Trevor. “Vikki’s good with long-term relationships,” she told us. “It could last. But the way they found love is making her a little insecure. So I can’t imagine building on that,” Rikki added. Since she’d already given Rebekah the boot, Rikki was down to Trevor. And he chose her sister. “I went through all that craziness for nothing. And either way, I was S.O.L.”
