PLAYBOY.COM: Why was Luc Besson captivated by you?
RUDAKOVA: He said that it was my freckles and my blue eyes; and he also said that I had an expression on my face, like I was not on this planet. That day I was just walking and smiling and just being happy to be there.
PLAYBOY.COM: Tell us about your sexy character in Transporter 3.
RUDAKOVA: She loves to live. She seduces Frank Martin because he’s really strict, sticking to his rules, and is not open to living fully. She’s really feisty, fun and crazy. He’s trying to save me.
PLAYBOY.COM: And you’re trying to lure him away from crime?
RUDAKOVA: No, just to live fully, to fall in love for the first time because he’s never actually experienced that. In the first and second movies, he was like a machine. Now he becomes like a human being. He opens up to being a sensitive and gentle person, which is really interesting because you’ve never seen Frank Martin in this way.
PLAYBOY.COM: What was Jason Statham like to work with?
RUDAKOVA: He’s really fun and really protective. I got lucky to have him as a co-star. I had never acted [in a movie] before, so it was hard for me to be there, and he was supportive. I didn’t have a chance to see it during shooting, but he was looking at the takes and saying that I did good. He was really supportive, fun and well-trained, so I had to keep up with him.
PLAYBOY.COM: Were you comfortable doing love scenes with him?
RUDAKOVA: We just had a good relationship that was trusting and friendly, so it was really easy. We were shooting during the winter and the beginning of spring, so it was really, really cold. Most of the movie was shot in the car, so we didn’t have a chance to warm up. He was half-naked, and I was in a small dress, and we were trying to support each other. It was a lot of fun to do the love scenes. We laughed a lot at it.
PLAYBOY.COM: Sounds fun all around. What type of man are you attracted to?
RUDAKOVA: I really don’t have a type. He should just be gentle and funny. A sense of humor is really good for the girls. You just need to be sensitive to the girl and be really funny.
PLAYBOY.COM: Did you perform your own stunts in Transporter 3?
RUDAKOVA: I did all of my stunts, but I had a stand-in for the car during some shots where you don’t see me. It was really cold in the car because there was no heat inside. But I had a lot of fun. I did everything by myself—lots of running and jumping, but no fights. Well, I got hit once by the bad guy.
PLAYBOY.COM: We’ve found little information about you online. Do you like being a mystery woman?
RUDAKOVA: Oh yeah, that’s great. Each month something new is coming out, and people are wondering about me. I love to be a mystery. It’s really good for fantasy.
PLAYBOY.COM:Speaking of which, would you ever pose for Playboy?
RUDAKOVA: I don’t know. Ask me in a couple of years, then I will know. Maybe. I’m not quite sure that I’m that kind of person, but never say never.
