Ingmar Bergman’s death on Monday will certainly stir fresh interest in both his work and his life. To offer some insight, here’s a link to Bergman’s June 1964 Playboy Interview.

Every teenager needs to be forced to watch "Wild Strawberries" and then watch it again when they are in their late twenties.
The entire US should be forced to watch the "Seventh Seal."
THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS!!
Actually, everyone should watch "Wild Strawberries" at least once in every decade of his or her life. There is no more effective reminder that one day we too shall be like the central character in the movie, looking back on his life and evaluating how it turned out.
We have lost one of the 20th century's master artists. I suspect that when the rap stars and sitcom actors whom Playboy currently interviews eventually die we shall not be re-reading their interviews, but Mr. Bergman was someone who had something worth saying, both in print and on the screen.
