This story from the New York Times about organized cooperative couch surfers suggests evidence of small but thriving Gen X populations throughout the globe. Gen Xers, or Slackers, were thought to be extinct, having succumbed to an invasive species called Hipsters who like kudzu, the vine that ate the south, are known for consuming everything in their path.
