Now that the baseball postseason is fast approaching, there is a question we have always wondered about the governing body of our National Pastime. In the Major League Baseball official logo, doesn’t it look like the player in silhouette is about to get the shit beaned out of him by that ball?
And a random Monday Night Football observation: The only comb-over more pointless than Tony Kornheiser's is the one sported by former Fed chair and current book flack Alan Greenspan.

Comments on this entry:
Well Mr. Thomas, I have a few of my own random observations about college football, NFL football, Major League Baseball, professional tennis, and NBA Basketball...
College Football:
When Notre Dame head coach Charlie Weis left the New England Patriots organization, he was often referred to as an "offensive genius." Should a genius start off the season 0-3 with 13 points scored?
NFL Football:
Speaking of the New England Patriots organization, was a $500,000 fine levied against head coach Bill Belichick fair? The only thing that will stop the Patriots from making another Super Bowl appearance is some sort of further cheating-oriented consequences from NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell...
Major League Baseball:
Barry Bonds' record-breaking 756th home run ball was auctioned Saturday for $752,467. The man who purchased the history-making ball, Marc Echo, is contemplating shooting the ball into space. It is my speculation that Echo may be using just as much crack cocaine as Bonds has allegedly used performance-enhancing drugs . . .
Professional Tennis:
Tennis fans will always wonder: Would Pete Sampras, at his best, win six out of ten matches (or more) against rising legend Roger Federer?? Federer has only been rumored to break a sweat during his Championship matches...
NBA Basketball:
Is it just me, or does it seem like NY Knicks head coach Isiah Thomas has done way more harm to the Knicks franchise than good? Let me get this straight: It is inappropriate for a Caucasian man to call a Black woman a 'b*tch,' but it is okay for a Black man, such as Thomas, to use this derogatory term?? Ohhkkkaaaay . . .
