Intern Nicole DeLuca spent her entire weekend at the Federal Election Commission combing through piles of candidates’ filings. Or something. Here’s her report:In one of the more surreal moments to date in the 2008 campaign, Dennis Hof, owner of the Moonlite Bunny Ranch, a brothel near Carson City, Nevada, is endorsing Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul. Hof, along with his two main prostitutes, Brook Taylor and “Air Force Amy” said they were so impressed after hearing Paul at a campaign stop in Reno last week that they decided to raise money for him. “I’ll get all the (working girls) together” Hof told the Reno Gazette-Journal. “I’ll put up a collection box outside the door. They can drop in $1, $5 contributions.” What’s next? “Giuliani backed by Hooters restaurant,’’ said Hof, "only because he likes their wings.”
