Is playing away as big of a disadvantage as it is made out to be?
I think that it is. Even the weather is important. Although some stadiums are indoors you also have places like Green Bay, where just recently, playing there was crazy—from kick off this past Sunday in the freezing cold to the week before when it was a full-blown blizzard! Green Bay Players are used to the cold and unless you live in it day in and day out, the weather change must suck for the teams who are not used to playing in such extreme conditions. Then you have the time change. When you are a west coast team and you are traveling to an east coast time zone, you end up having to go to bed but lie wide awake thinking “it may be midnight in New England but it is only 9pm back home.” It’s tough for your body to adjust in only one night. And then there’s just something about playing a home game. You have more fans and more familiarity. So overall yes, I do think it is a big deal to have home field advantage.

How about coming to Eagles Country next year. We would love to host you for an Eagles game. Been a season ticket holder since 1981 and a play boy subscriber since the 70's. See you next season?
