Here’s an interesting comparison between Robin Williams and Barack Obama (thanks to New York magazine).
Ask yourself, why did the line bomb on film yet do well on the stage? Is Barack the better actor? Would all bad movie writing sound better spoken by an actor? (Nah—Reagan did well with `Go ahead, make my day’, but Eastwood was better.) We probably need more opportunities for comparison. Can Obama do an impression of Jack Nicholson?
