Here's one of the strangest bits of news we've heard here at the music desk for a while: Rachel Ray is hosting a party at SXSW festival, called the FEEDBACK Showcase. Stranger still is the fact that she apparently has decent, ahem, taste in indie rock. She asked Battles and Holy Fuck to play the showcase. Battles are not going to SXSW, so they won't be playing her party, but still...

Not that random as Rachel Ray is extremely cool.
I'm sure she has to tone it down for middle America.
