Rocky had the unfortunate task of covering Playboy’s Spring Break for Playboy U in Cabo. This week we're publishing a daily excerpt from his running diary posted on the college network site. 2-ish at Billygan’s Island...
-The MC keeps the girls on stage and announces that they will be competing in a booty-shaking contest. Each girl is given a white Playboy U babydoll tee. At first it seems like a terrible idea to hide the girls’ bikini tops until I notice a bus boy stealthily dragging out a water hose. The first girl up is Liz and with a little coaxing from the MC she removes her bikini top from under the t-shirt. She’s a pro and shakes her booty while a waitress douses her with water. The crowd goes nuts.-The next girl up won’t remove her bikini top because she claims she is Southern—whatever that means. She makes up for it by putting on quite a show, inspired actually. That leaves me to think by Southern she didn’t mean proper.
-When she is finished a middle-aged woman in the crowd goes ape. The MC discerns that the woman is her mother and he is correct!
-The blonde takes the hose, very nice.
-Before winnowing the field down the MC asks for anymore volunteers. One chubby-ish girl and a slender blonde both jump up on stage. The crowd chants, “Mom! Mom! Mom!” The Southern girl’s mother, with blessing from her daughter, puts on a Playboy U t-shirt and joins the babes.
