Sorry yesterday’s post wasn’t about girls. Here’s some girls:
One of my duties during was to interview Spring Breakers on video. This is one of the few things I’m not good at so I was relieved (in more ways than one) when this girl Liz from Penn State grabbed the microphone and took over my job.
On the subject of girls, this gave me the opportunity to remind the girlfriend back home that in this bevy of lubricated women I hadn’t forgotten her. I called her local flower shop and had them make a “sunny arrangement” as in I’m on the beach but not forgetting about you.
She called up crying. “Are these yellow roses suppose to symbolize that you are hooking up left and right and you just want to be friends now?"
The weirdest part was later recounting the story to my buddy Cuts of Beef, who I wouldn’t think would be versed in the meanings of rose colors nor their origins, but responded with, “What is she a Victorian?"
