Kiss Down Under recommends starting with the unisex cleansing wash followed by the after grooming gel to restore moisture and keep your skin silky smooth. And you can now breathe a sigh of relief because there’s finally an exfoliator gentle enough to use downstairs. There’s also a refreshing mist for those “unexpected events” and hygienic wipes to keep you “shower fresh” all day. The products are definitely ideal if you like to smell like Doublemint gum.
The cleansing wash is more of a shock than a refresher because the tingle is so strong it feels like a sunburn on contact. But the sensation dissolves after five minutes or so. The moisturizer is light and certainly promotes softer skin, but its consistency and smell greatly resembles generic aloe cream. As for the portable cleansing wipes, the stinging feeling briefly returns. But you can get the same cleansing and refreshing without the burn by using baby wipes. The cleansing wipes are a pointless purchase unless you’re keen on the tingle.
But one of Kiss Down Under’s key selling points is its “corporate social responsibility,” meaning the company’s commitment to the environment. Kiss Down Under has become a carbon neutral organization and is accredited by the Australian Department of Climate Change and has purchased offsets to support reforestation. The company encourages incorporating eco-friendly cleansing methods into your daily hygienic routine. What ever happened to guilt-free soap and water?
