OK, so we've all heard about the controversy at this point--the back and forth about who had it taken off Youtube and who restored it, et al--but the most amazing thing about Prince's cover of Radiohead's "Creep" at this year's Coachella festival is the performance itself. It's flat-out sick. Prince takes "Creep" and turns it into an extended cathartic masterpiece with many similarities to his "Purple Rain." This is everything a cover should be: It makes both the original song and the new performer shine.
