About Chrissy Teigen
Drop-dead gorgeous and she knows how to eat and cook? Now that’s our kind of girl. That’s right, Chrissy Teigen—the cover-model stunner who romped around for the cover of the 50th anniversary Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue not long ago—is such an avid at-home chef, she has a cookbook in the works. Her recipe website is among the top hits when you Google her name. She calls her scrambled eggs “man-pleasing sex eggs.” And they’re clearly working for her, since in addition to being one of the hottest models out there, she calls R&B crooner John Legend her husband.
Spicy sesame noodles with chicken are called “#staplerecipe” on sodelushious.com. “Let’s do this shit,” she says about her baked eggs in ham cups recipe. “Personal random ramblings from a girl who loves bacon and can’t be fat,” says the heading at the top of the page.
In addition to owning the kitchen (and being featured on a Cooking Channel episode, “Chrissy Teigen’s Hungry”), Chrissy made a guest appearance on The Mindy Project and is also the co-host of Lip Sync Battle, a celebrity lip-syncing contest, alongside LL Cool J on Spike TV.
As a model, her list of appearances is longer than her brown locks: Ocean Drive, Cosmopolitan, Italian Vogue, and Glamour, among others. Her campaigns have included Olay, Nike, Rock and Republic, Billabong, and others. Everyone wants Chrissy to make their product hot or make their magazine sell.
What does Chrissy want? “I actually want to try to capitalize on things more. I am so lucky that I have every outlet to make everything I want to do possible, so you just try to make the most of it, have fun, and try to do what you love doing,” Chrissy told A Drink With during an interview with John shortly after their wedding. “John gets to do what he loves doing. I want to do what I love doing, but I’m also still trying to figure that out so he’s a few steps ahead of me on that end. But I just want to do the best I can for this life.”
