Shannon Gilbert looks like she belongs in the O.C. with her golden mane of hair, amazing bronzed body and million-dollar smile. But if you look a little closer at this 27-year-old budding real estate mogul, you'll find there is definitely more than meets the eye.

Shannon Gilbert: Seattle was nice, but it rained too much! At an early age I knew I would end up living in California because I spent every summer there and loved it.
PSE: When did you realize that you were sexy?
SG: When
I returned from summer break for the beginning of my sophomore year in
high school all the boys were looking at me differently. That summer I
developed curves and boobs!
PSE: How did your Real Girls of the O.C. pictorial in
PLAYBOY come about?
SG: My personal trainer Liz
mentioned that I should try to be in Playboy. I thought she was crazy, but
she insisted I do it, so she set up a test shoot and I went. I got a call
back to do the Real Girls of the O.C. photo shoot and I was so
excited! I hadn't done any modeling before and to do that feature
immediately was crazy!
PSE: What was the reaction to your photos?
SG: I've
received nothing but positive feedback. I was in all the newspapers, did a
lot of interviews and was even flown to Las Vegas to sign autographs at
the casinos. I also co-hosted the Playboy Comedy Tour with Joel McHale
from Talk Soup. I had a blast!
PSE: Didn't we see you at the L.A. Playboy Casting
Call?
SG: Yes, and I was actually more nervous at the casting
call than I was with my first test shoot for the O.C. I was sitting in a
room with a bunch of beautiful girls all trying to be in Playboy, so it
was a little nerve wracking.
PSE: Next came the A/M Lingerie cover?
SG: Yes!
No klutzy model moments on set, thank goodness! But it took me a little
time to warm up and move for the camera. By the time we were done I felt
sexier than ever and didn't want to stop posing!
PSE: What are you up to now?
SG: I work for a boutique
real estate agency -- Antela Properties -- in case anyone is looking for a
house! I love competition so real estate is great for me -- I like being
the best and I won't stop until I know I did a great job and my client is
happy. My long-term goal is to be a big presence in the real estate world.
I want people to think of my name and face anytime they want to buy or
sell real estate.
PSE: What do you do for fun?
SG: I believe in working
hard and playing hard! I love weekend getaways, but typically I meet
friends or family out for dinner and drinks or maybe just relax and watch
a movie. I love to eat bowls of ice cream and rent movies!
PSE: If some day you have a daughter would you support her
posing for Playboy?
SG: I'm very open-minded, so I would
definitely support her. I would only want her to be happy and if she could
have some of the great experiences that I have had by posing for Playboy
then I would wish her the best of luck.

us recent color snapshots or Polaroids that clearly show face and figure,
