Lindsey Suding -- Cover Shoot Contest Winner
The 100th issue of Lingerie showed off some big changes -- new cover type, redesigned sections, a commemorative pullout poster -- and the first ever female winner of our cover shoot contest! Twenty-one-year-old Lindsey Suding showed up to claim her prize -- and an extra bonus we were more than happy to provide her.

LS: I'm originally from a small town of 2700 called Arcola in southern Illinois Amish country -- so small that our school was K through 12 in one building! Now I go full time to Parkland Community College in Champaign, Illinois, and am also a full-time nanny for a family with three kids, ages two, four and six. I'm working on my associates in business administration, but am transferring to St. Louis University to major in marketing. I love small-town life, but St. Louis will offer me more opportunities.
PSE: How did you happen to enter the cover shoot contest?
LS: I had always loved Playboy -- my dad got it and I used to look at it all the time for hair and makeup ideas. I had even been trying to become a Playboy campus rep when I saw the cover shoot contest advertised on your website. So I voted -- and wow, here I am!
PSE: How'd your family and friends react to your winning?
LS: I told my mom and she was a little skeptical at first -- she figured there was a catch to it. Everybody's in shock -- things like this just don't happen! All of my guy friends back home were like, "Hey, I'll go with you! Pick me, pick me!" They couldn't believe that I won -- a girl! But I was just as excited as they were. I probably don't check out the body parts the way guys do, but I'm just as fascinated by the glamour and beauty.
PSE: What have your impressions been so far?
LS: Everything's just amazing -- the offices are beautiful, the models are incredible, the staff is great and being around your department has shown me how complicated it is to produce your magazines. When you're from an itty-bitty town in Central Illinois, seeing this is awesome!
PSE: We have to ask....would you consider posing for us?
LS: Yes, absolutely -- I'd love it! I've done several pageants -- Miss Illinois Teen USA pageant and the Miss Moultrie-Douglas County Fair pageant -- so if I can stand up in front of 2000 people in a swimsuit and give a speech, I can do anything!
PSE: How do you think your family would react to that?
LS: My grandma would have a heart attack! She's very prim and proper and I'm sure she's never even showed cleavage. It would probably be awkward with my dad, too, since he gets Playboy magazines! I think I'd make sure he skips that issue!
Within weeks, Lindsey got the call she was waiting for -- to return to our offices to pose for Playboy. Here's what she told us afterward.
PSE: So, you did it!
LS: Yes, but I was so nervous! And it didn't help that I drove halfway to Chicago the night before and halfway the day of the shooting -- and got lost. I ended up parking miles away from the studio and was terrified I'd be late! I was a wreck when I got there.
PSE: How'd it go?
LS: It was a little nervewracking. But it goes so fast -- before you know it you're out of there -- and you find yourself wishing it had taken longer! I spent the whole drive home thinking about ways I could have done it better. For weeks afterward I'd practice different expressions and different poses in the mirror!
PSE: Are you glad you did it?
LS: Absolutely -- I'd do it again anytime.
