Destiny Davis was destined to be Playboy’s Miss January 2005. She’s a voluptuous blonde with a blend of Irish, English, Swedish, and Syrian heritage. “Destiny is not a stage name,” she told Playboy. “It’s my real name.”
Born in Los Angeles, Destiny spent her teen years in Las Vegas. “I graduated high school when I was 16,” she said. “I wanted to get a head start.” She studied economics and commercial law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and modeled at events and conventions on the side. At 17 she performed in the “Baywatch Aloha” show at the Flamingo.
She became friends with Playmate Angela Melini, who was so impressed with Destiny’s portfolio that she submitted it to Playboy. “When they offered me the centerfold,” Destiny said, “I decided to pursue a modeling career.”
Not one to do things halfway, she finished her degree, appeared on several episodes of The Girls Next Door, and was a main cast member on the Vegas-centric series Paradise City. In 2005 she was awarded the key to the city by the mayor of Sin City for her promotion of Las Vegas tourism.
These days Destiny is a successful model in Las Vegas, and when she’s not working she’s out on the town with her girls or unwinding at home with a glass of wine and her dogs. Destiny’s turn-ons include “athleticism, gentlemen, a Southern accent, intelligence, and nice muscles.” She’s turned off by narcissism, rudeness, and people who wear socks with sandals.
“Being a Playmate has been incredible,” she said. “I’ll never forget the time I’ve spent with Playboy. I’ll always be Miss January 2005.”
