Tropical luxury is taken one step further with SARCO Architect’s Casa Magayon, a private home overlooking the jungle from a steep hillside in Guanacaste. The 13,885 square-foot property comes with all the bells and whistles that a mansion should have (lap pool, direct trails to the Pacific Ocean and a badass kitchen), but at no cost to the environment. The eco-friendly home is topped with an insulating green roof, reducing the need for AC. My favorite part about the home though? Its indoor-outdoor connection, which is brought out not only by its independent glazed modules connected by breezeways, but by the fresh interior design of the home also designed by the firm.
