If you’re going to have a lake house, there should be no question that it has to have at least one room with sweet views of the water. But what about a 30-feet by 20-feet window that opens up an entire space to forest and lake views? That’s how Olson Kundig Architect’s Chicken Point Cabin in Idaho does a lakeside cabin. Concrete block, concrete floors, steel and unfinished aged plywood keep the home feeling like an actual cabin, but Olson Kundig’s custom interior furnishings keep the home modern.
