San Fransisco is one of the toughest cities to live in due to space (and well, money.) But if you have a ton of the latter and have access to a badass architect who understands the city’s design, the sky is the limit. Located above San Francisco’s Dolores Park on a steep site bordering a public garden, this home was designed by Craig Steeley Architects, who worked with only 1800 square-feet and created a glass house that has the illusion of being double that size. Designing efficiently as possible, the architects built a 3-story glass tower above a cast-in-place garage at the lowest level. The top living floor operates like a bridge, and seriously has the most stunning views of the city. Can you say house parties?
