Miami is known for the avant-garde art scene and killer 4 A.M. parties—but its sleek modern architecture is an intricate pillar of what makes the bustling city so unique. And the expansive Péribère Residence is an example of what modern design looks like in a city that never sleeps. Owners Jerome and Isabelle Péribère collaborated with Miami-based architecture firm Strang Architecture, known for its pre-eminent modernist design, to create the ultimate waterfront pad. This concrete-and-glass structure has floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that open to expansive views of the glimmering Biscayne Bay. From the street the home has an intriguing, yet private entrance while the bay side shows the home as a completely transparent structure.
