Step Into This Saint John Home Built Out of Weathered Wood and Steel

By Nicole Theodore

A unique contrast has been created with this contemporary home in the historic city of Saint John in New Brunswick, Canada. With the urban city in the near distance, this residential home owned by a poet and a designer sits on 2.3 acres of partially forested land, and is filled with clean lines and minimalist art. The two-story home boasts an open concept design, with a large walkout deck, a green-roof and large, inviting windows. The home was coined “Into the Wild” by Acre Architects, a young husband-and-wife team based out of Saint John, who led the design on this incredible home built out of weathered wood and other natural materials.
