Julie's path to Playmate began as a contestant at a Florida bikini contest. Undecided about college and career, Julie knew that being a Centerfold would honor her "as being a beautiful person inside and out," so she let a scout at the contest send her photos to Playboy headquarters. A true child of the 80s, Julie's favorite movies at the time included The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles and Purple Rain.
