Gianna Amore, Playboy’s Miss August 1989, was born in Warwick, Rhode Island, and is of Italian descent. In a 1989 interview Gianna told Playboy, “I was born an actress. I think I owe it to myself and to the world to pursue acting.” After posing for Playboy, she appeared in several Playboy videos and Special Editions. She went on to act in the movies Screwball Hotel and Nothing But Trouble.
This confident blonde says she’s “in love with falling in love,” and she knows exactly what she likes in a man. She told Playboy, “He is 25-35, sexy, very successful, with integrity. He is sensitive, definitely not macho. I plan to be a star, and he’ll have to deal with that.” Gianna said she’s turned on by “Jaguars, cowboy boots, music, shopping, diamonds, and nature.” Her turnoffs? “Alarm clocks and litterbugs.”
Gianna hates the pick-up lines “You’re so beautiful I’ll give you anything you want” and “Do you like my house? When are you moving in?” If you want to impress her, she suggests saying something like, “I’ll bet there’s more to you than beauty.”
