The Scene: "This town is pretty conservative, because everyone here's from the Midwest. There's not much of a hookup scene, so if you're looking for action, you should drive to the University of Iowa for the weekend and go nuts. People at Iowa State would rather chill with their boyfriends and girlfriends, get drunk and get laid. This is Iowa, after all. It's not like there's a lot to do around here."
Girls Against Boys: "The guy-to-girl ratio here is great. It's 60 percent guys and 40 percent girls. Well, for us girls it's good, but for guys...not so good."
No. 1 Pastime: "Drinking. If you don't like alcohol, go to another school.
Meet Market: "Campus Town. There are at least a dozen different bars in that area, and that's where everybody goes to meet, mingle and check out the hotties on campus. Mug Night Wednesdays are pretty big. You get these huge plastic mugs, and you take them around to all the bars for your fill-ups. If you're looking for sex, that's the night you'll find it. And if you have a class Thursday morning, I guarantee you'll never make it there."
