PB: Was it common knowledge on your team or on campus that you were a dancer, or was it something you kept private?
LR: I kept it private for the most part. The only time I would tell people is if I got to know them really well. Most people attach a stereotype to dancers, so I wouldn't tell strangers.
PB: What kind of reaction have you gotten from students on campus since you got kicked off the team?
LR: A lot of people have come up to me and said, "What happened to you really sucks." It was pretty cool to find out that the other students supported me.
PB: It must have been tough trying to balance homework, sports and a job.
LR: No kidding. That's why I like dancing -- I only have to work one or two nights a week, and I can bring home a lot of money. The rest of the time I can concentrate on school.
