I had been called a straight shooter before, but until this year it had a different meaning. In March I shot a gun for the first time, and it has since become one of my favorite hobbies. Honestly, I had always been afraid to try it, but I can't seem to resist a challenge ... especially if it involves conquering my own fears. When I go to the range I become very focused, yet somehow it is relaxing. There are no opinions, no questions, and only one goal ... hit the target. It takes my mind off of everything else because the only thing I think about is hitting the target. So when Playboy asked me, "Do you do anything that guys like to do?" ... I thought, "Nope ... wait I can shoot a gun!" Later when I went to Chicago I learned I would be shooting with the head of Playboy security. Who gets to do that?!! He said he was impressed and I have to say it made my day! He taught me a few things, and it was amazing. I guess you could call me a straight shooter now, and you would be correct in multiple aspects!
