Tips for Contestants

Thanks to Crystal Eaglesgirl, our DAY 2 winner for creating the following video!! We recommend you watch and listen to her tips...she clearly knows what she's talking about. (read below for additional tips)

1. To begin, we recommend that each contestant makes a YouTube video introducing herself. Be as creative as you want. Show people your personality, and tell them how and when to vote for you! Consider using your video to show why you deserve and want to be Playboy's Miss Social. Promote your video on Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, your blog, wherever!

2. Consider opening up your Facebook profile to "all users." You don't have to make your wall or photos viewable, but we suggest giving as many people as possible the opportunity to see your personality in addition to your profile picture.

3. Utilize Twitter. We'll be using the topic #pbms and the username @Playboysocial in addition to Playboy's main Twitter page to promote the competition. Tweet at us, retweet our posts, and use the #topic so that your account links to all searches and trending topics of the competition.

4. Friend Samantha Owens, Miss Social Moderator over at http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/profile.php?id=100001332457909 so you can get to know the other girls in the competition.
