My
life began in Melbourne, Australia. My twin brother and I are the survivors
of a quadruplet pregnancy, so life was a little unusual right from the
beginning. I started corresponding with my father a couple of years
ago. Someday I hope to go to Australia to meet him in person.
My childhood was interesting -- you'd have to meet my family to appreciate
just how interesting. We went through several stages, all of which had
their own challenges, from single parenthood to a married family environment
and then back to the harsh realities of single parenthood. But we endured
and came out stronger from those challenges. No point in dwelling on
them now; they're over with and we have to look to the future because
that's where our life will be. If you use the past as an excuse, you'll
never be able to move on and succeed.
I can honestly say I hated high school. I was just too shy to participate
in most extracurricular activities or in class. I would cringe if the
teacher looked like he was going to ask me a question. The one thing
I did do was run cross-country. I had great endurance and was pretty
fast for my size, which was quite small in those days. The friends who
got me through high school are still my friends today.
If mathematics had not been a requirement, I would have gone to veterinary
college. I am also very interested in law and psychology. However, I
am very happy that I have chosen the Playmate path or, rather, that
I allowed it to choose me.
