of
Playboy's Book of Lingerie after all!

I visited the Playboy building
on Sunset Boulevard hoping to land a job as a model for one of Playboy's lingerie
books. A photographer asked me to pose for a Polaroid that would become the first
step on the road to becoming a Centerfold. At first, I said no. But the photographer
said I could do it in lingerie. So I did. Then they called and asked me to test
for a Centerfold. I couldn't believe it! I thought, I'm not Playboy material.
Those women are beautiful. I mean, I see myself in the mirror. I know what my
flaws are.
But I agreed to do it. Some
Playmate hopefuls test for years before they are accepted or rejected. I tested
for five months. Finally, I was transported to a world reminiscent of a seductive
Parisian afternoon. Of course, it's only romantic in the photos. On the set there's
absolutely nothing easy -- mentally or physically -- about posing. The photo sessions
lasted five to eight hours, requiring me to remain motionless as lights were adjusted
and camera angles changed. Think sexy and be sexy. Over ten days, photographers
captured my image on more than 100 rolls of film. All for an 11-picture, ten-page
layout that will forever drape me in a banner that reads: Miss March 1990. I was
then chosen as the cover for the April 1990 issue. To see unpublished
photos from my Playmate pictorial, join

Since then I have guested on the Bob Hope Acapulco Special, hosted Playboy
TV's Playboy Hot Rocks for a while and appeared on General Hospital.
I also acted in several movies and was the spokesperson for Dodge trucks. Check
out my résumé
for more of my work! The highlight of my whole acting career came when I auditioned
for Sean Penn, reading with Gary Oldman. I didn't get the part, but I was just
so proud that I made it through that tough, truly intimidating day!
