Hi everybody! Long time no see! I have been very busy since
shooting my layout. But I guess I have been busy for most of my
life!
I
broke into modeling while still in high school (I graduated from Beverly Hills High).
A friend suggested I shoot with a photographer for his project
and I did it -- for no pay! I had no idea you could be paid for
something like that! A few months later, the photographer called.
A French modeling agency had seen my pictures and wanted me to
sign on with them.
How could I refuse? I packed up 13 suitcases and moved to Paris,
where I lived and worked for four years. It was such an amazing
time. I did fashion shows, magazines and tons of lingerie work.
I am still on the front of a L'Oreal hair color box. And I did
work for Chanel, Christian Lacroix, Jean-Louis Scherrer, Elle,
Vogue and Body Glove, just to name a few.They really seemed
to love me over there.
But
feeling the calls of home, I returned to LA in 1987. By the summer
of 1988 I had made lots of new friends, one being Brigitte Nielsen,
via her brother Jan, whom I happened to be involved with at the
time. That July at Gitte's birthday party, a whole new opportunity
arrived. Gitte was running late and asked me to greet her guests,
and I did with great pleasure. So many wonderful and intriguing
people arrived, and one in particular was Marilyn Grabowski. Upon

and showing her in, we started talking. She is one of the most
fascinating, delightful, interesting and brilliant people whom
I have had the good fortune of meeting in my life. She captivated
me from the moment she smiled. We talked and talked and laughed
even more. And the rest is history, as you know!
