The
shoot itself was grueling; I worked 14 hours a day sometimes,
along with the crew -- but I had to stay gorgeous, they didn't.
And it was so hot that summer that the studio was literally as
hot as an oven. I have a very fast metabolism, so between the
hard work and the heat, I was quickly losing my curves! Am I complaining?
Not for a second! I would do it again in a heartbeat.
Being a model is one thing: You go to the set, you do your job,
you go home, you get your paycheck. End of story. I don't think
anything prepares you for Playmate-dom. I considered myself lucky
to be entering this world with the background I had accumulated
tucked tightly under my sleeve. I was no longer annonymous, no
longer the girl next door, even. The life I once knew was over,
and a wonderful new life was about to begin. |

For my crowning as 35th Anniversary Playmate, Hef threw me the
most beautiful party any girl could ever hope to attend, let
alone be the star of the event. It was at the top of the World
Trade Center in New York City. Everyone was there -- Donald
Trump, Dr. Ruth, etc. I was truly overwhelmed. And then the
traveling began. For months, I visited cities across the U.S.
and eventually made it to Tokyo. Carmen Berg and I had such
a fabulous time there, although I think we wore bikinis the
whole time! But I was in heaven.... Sushi is my favorite food
and I could have the best sushi there for breakfast, lunch and
dinner.
