My Story Continued...
After the traveling started to taper off, I found other things to keep me busy. I got into the sport of skydiving, which is just an unbelievable rush. Nothing like getting ready to jump out when the door goes up and the cold air rushes in. (Especially when you're wearing just a bikini -- I did that only once!) There is no better way to get the perfect view of a beautiful Florida sunset! It is somewhat dangerous, though. I dislocated my shoulder once in freefall. My right arm rendered useless, I had to reach across with my left arm to open my parachute, tumbling all the while. Not a very smooth landing, either. I had done a lot of jumping before that -- 250 jumps all together, which is not a lot in the skydiving community, where some have completed 1000 to 3000 jumps! But that one experience scared me a little, and I eventually lost the great enthusiasm I once had.
Then I started working as an assistant to a sushi chef. (Sushi is one of my favorite foods.) My friends were amazed that I knew how to roll sushi. It was the best way for me to eat lots of my favorite food at a discount! I enjoyed food prep so much I was considering going to culinary school. But then I decided I really didn't want to slave in a kitchen every day.
Now I am thinking about getting a degree to become a pharmacist. I live in Ft. Myers and work full time at a law firm while taking courses at a local community college. I still enjoy going to parties at the Mansion, particularly Midsummer Night's Dream. I love taking my friends there to let them live out their own fairy tales. I spend my free time ballroom dancing (what a switch from skydiving!). My mother got me interested and I just love it! I am trying to get good enough to compete one day. My favorite dances are the swing, the cha cha and the samba. I love all kinds of music -- alternative, rock, techno, even country! I would like to one day learn to play guitar and even take some voice lessons. I have also been thinking about getting involved in acting again. As for following other driven Playmates to Hollywood, however, that is not for me. I would like to try local theater, though.
Working with Playboy has really given me the confidence to pursue any dream. I would encourage any girl considering posing for Playboy to go for it! I will always have great memories for the rest of my life; no one can take that away! And there will always be parties to go to at the Mansion, where Playmates are always VIP!
Thanks for stopping by my page!
Lots of love,
